The model he used for his angel pictures has a striking resemblance to the model used in <I>The Lady of Shallot</I> by John William Waterhouse. Last night, I discovered that Dorn had written a remembrance of Brautigan after Brautigan's death, in which he compared Brautigan (awkwardly) to Twain.
