Disappointment: A Jane Austen Tour

If you have time to read a blog post that started life as a twenty-page paper, here's a link to the talk on Jane Austen I gave this evening at the Northfield Public Library as part of the National Library Week celebrations.

So interesting....I'm a shameful former English major who has only read Pride and Prejudice, of all the Jane Austen novels. But I love England, with all its literary history, and I would love to go back someday. Loved to see the photos in your talk (via the link)...

By the way, someday I will not be sitting outside my two-year-old's nursery door at 7 p.m. on a weeknight, trying to re-sleep-train her to go to bed at night without crying, and I will actually be able to do things like go to readings at the library.
