Oh, man, I was so hoping they wouldn't have to cut you. I do hope the surgery does exactly what it's supposed to and that the recovery is rapid and uneventful.

Bah! She's in Classics; that's a classic. She'll love it. Especially if you ask for two juice boxes while lying like a lazy helot on the recovery-room bed.
