On my return to the blogosphere last night, after a three weeks absence, I was shocked to learn that my blogfriend Kookiejar has decided to retire her blog, A Fraternity of Dreamers. Isn't it such a bummer when a regular blog read ends on you? Especially when it happens suddenly--meaning, you, the reader, had no advance warning? I hate that, even if I understand the writer's reasons. It always feels like a friend is moving away, and you don't know when or if you'll hear from them again. OK, maybe I spend too much time online. Sigh.
P.S. Welcome home Rob!
P.P.S. And good luck with the surgery!
Thank you, Rob. You've been very good to me over the past year, and I appreciate that. Best of luck to you, my friend. :)
I feel like Shan about it too (especially that last line).
I've nominated your blog for an award. :)
